Amateur Astronomers Group, Pune brings you the opportunity to witness the Supermoon through our powerful telescopes.
Enjoy the spectacular view of craters and mountains on the moon's surface!
A Supermoon happens when the full moon coincides with the moon's closest approach to Earth in its orbit.
Supermoon makes the moon appear a little brighter and closer than normal. Difference in the moon's apparent size and brightness can be easily identified using unaided eyes.

It was simply superb session, amazing explanation on stars and planets. Jupiter rings were clearly visible through telescope. Good accommodation.
Overall it was nice experience.

The session is free on almost every supermoon. They have Guan Sheng 12'' Telescope which provides pretty good magnitude and better quality images.
